Immortality: Although supplemental material had suggested it for years.Furry Reminder: Even in their new form, Friends still exhibit behaviors of their original species.Fur Is Clothing: Played With all Friends fall into Little Bit Beastly territory and wear human clothes, but they refer to their clothing as "fur" and are unaware that they can take it off until Kaban points it out to them.Fossil Revival: The Sandstar can create Friends from animal remains, effectively becoming this.The PPP, who are Legacy Characters using stage names, and Kaban, who's named after her bag, are the sole exceptions. A Dog Named "Dog": All of the Friends are named for the species of animal they are.This causes this trope to happen to them. The Berserker: Some animals end up having an adverse effect to Sandstar, becoming Beasts instead of Friends.Thus, everyone from a solitary hunter to a mild-mannered tea shop owner to an idol unit can and will beat up monsters on the regular. Badass Adorable: They may be cute girls, but they're also wild animals, and while they don't hunt each other anymore, they still need to fight for their lives against Celliens.It happens again in Episode 11 of Season 2, when Kaban drives almost all of the friends that Kyururu and company met to the undersea hotel that they were currently at.Most of the plot-important Friends make a return in episode 12 of Season 1.Animal Gender-Bender: Animals turned into Friends by Sandstar are female regardless of the original sex, which leads to some of them exhibiting male characteristics (manes, horns/antlers, etc.).Animal Eyes: Some of the Friends have pupils shaped like those of their original species (i.e.Tropes for the characters of Kemono Friends.
